Ash Barker

Ash is a leadership developer, shalom activist, communicator and Pioneer Minister. He has lived and served on the front line of urban poverty for over thirty years, beginning in his native Melbourne, before twelve years in Bangkok’s largest slum and, since 2014, Birmingham, UK. Ash has authored eight books and leads post-graduate courses with Nazarene Theological College. With wife Anji, Ash lives in community at Newbigin House in Winson Green, is Minister at Lodge Road URC and leads ‘Seedbeds’ for growing community leaders.
